The Annecy International Short film competition presents a TRAM by Czech well know film-maker Michaela Pavlátová shot in a Czech French co-production with Sacrebleu Productions and Negativ.
The drawing animation film tells a story of a female Tram driver erotic fantasies. As every morning, men get on the tram to go to work. But on that day, to the rhythm of the tickets inserted in the ticket-stamping machine, the vehicle gets erotic and the conductress’ desire turns the reality into a surrealistic and phallic fantasy.
A seven minutes long film was premiered at Quinzaine des realisateurs of Cannes 2012. This is its second festival screening of a new film by one of the prolific animation filmmakers of our time.
